Rooted in the rich legacy of Bidri craft from Bidar, Karnataka, this work reinterprets traditional techniques through a contemporary design lens. Drawing from the symbolic language of mudras, intricate hand gestures are translated into refined compositions that feel both expressive and meditative.

Using the age-old process of inlaying silver into a zinc-based alloy, each piece undergoes detailed engraving, inlay, and oxidation. The deep black surface contrasted with fine silver detailing creates a striking interplay of form and texture.

Balancing heritage with modern sensibility, the design transforms this centuries-old craft into a minimal yet meaningful object defined by precision, materiality, and cultural depth.
