Designed as an official Diwali gift for the Government of Rajasthan, this project captures the essence of the state through a thoughtful blend of design, craft, and storytelling. Presented by the Honourable Chief Minister of Rajasthan to top ministers and bureaucrats of the state, the project involved the creation of approximately 3500 gift boxes.
Every element, from the artwork on the box to the objects within, draws from Rajasthan’s rich cultural heritage. Traditional motifs are reinterpreted through a refined, contemporary lens, while the magnetic flap structure with subtle gold detailing establishes a sense of occasion and restraint.
At its core, the project is a celebration of craft. Each component inside the box is handmade and artisan-produced, bringing together diverse art forms from across the region. The curation and presentation aim to preserve and showcase Rajasthan’s cultural legacy through a cohesive, elevated experience.
The result is more than a gift, it is an ode to Rajasthan, expressing its art, craft, and identity through a carefully designed and deeply rooted narrative.
